This hotel was a wonderful place for a weekend getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay all the more enjoyable. The decor was modern and gorgeous, with a perfect mix of contemporary design and old world charm. Our room was spacious and clean, with an amazing bed and comfortable robes. The breakfast was great and offered lots of options to choose from. We loved how quiet and peaceful the location was, it provided an ideal escape from the noise of the city.

Although the grounds were extensive, we felt that there was some wasted space and unused buildings that could have been better utilized. It would be helpful to have more information provided in the room about local restaurants and activities, as well as light meals available on site.

It would have been great if there were more on-site amenities for guests, such as an outdoor pool or restaurant.

Spending my Xmas holiday at the hotel was a wonderful experience. the breakfast served was fantastic, offering a great range of options. Another advantage was the fantastic location of the hotel, with easy access to the town nearby and plenty of beautiful scenery to explore.

Despite the extensive grounds, I was not impressed with the unused/abandoned buildings. the room's low ceiling was also a minor drawback, making it easy to accidentally hit my head.
